I enjoy helping others learn about what I enjoy

I started painting in watercolour when I retired but only really got hooked on it due to Shopkeeparty.

I paint in watercolour and especially love plein air painting; I try to paint in a loose style and love painting architectural based pictures.

I would love to help someone to enjoy art as much as I do and for them to discover some of the tricks of the medium! I follow several artists but I think my main inspiration has come from John Singer Sargent.

Current artists I follow are Randy Hale, Vladimir Yeliseyev , Laszlo Zsoka and Keiko Tanabe, although I’m always looking at different artists for extra inspiration.
