In this short course Carne will be showing you how to quickly create interesting textures and patterns using traditional methods and some unusual materials - mixing inks, liquids and a little watercolour paint.
Carne will then go digital, scanning the art into his computer and working on these pieces digitally in photoshop. He will demonstrate how he enhances colours and adds patterns to create great new textures.

Recommended materials
You need some heavy watercolour paper, Non permanent calligraphy inks and watercolour paints and tea (and maybe a little vodka!). Also, don't forget fountain pens!
